Araceli Grant (she/her)
Hi, I'm Araceli Grant. I graduated from Grace College & Theological Seminary in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. I completed my Master of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy at Indiana University, Purdue University in 2009. I have almost two decades of combined experience in community mental health, local government, and sex offender programming.
I believe that treatment is most helpful when provided in a safe environment free of judgment and filled with compassion and respect. I believe most of our troubles stem from our upbringing and the relationships we’ve had in our life, past and present. In order to heal, it is necessary to explore this. This will take time and be difficult, but we will learn coping skills to manage life’s ups and downs in a healthier way.
I play board games with my family and friends or snuggle with my pets when I'm not at work. I also enjoy dining out and watching stand-up comedy.
